Weight Loss Tips: 3 Ingredients to Enhance Your Weight Loss (Not Caffeine!!)

Are you having a difficult time getting rid of those “problem areas?”  If so, join the club.  However, there are three well-known supplemental ingredients that can help.  Like life, weight loss comes at you from several different angles.  These three ingredients help to address different aspects of weight loss.  Used separately, they are effective.  When used together, their actions are multiplied.

1.L-Taurine

L-Taurine is one of the most abundant amino acids in the body.  It’s mainly used to amplify the neurological benefits of caffeine.  However, it can also aid in weight loss.

The first way Taurine is helpful in weight loss is by increasing athletic performance.  The better you perform during your workout session, the more calories you will burn.  A study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that when diabetic rats were fed Taurine, they lost weight.

However, the second weight loss benefit of Taurine is even more beneficial.  Taurine helps with “False Hunger.”  When your body is not sufficiently hydrated, your brain can send out “False Hunger” signals.  Because Taurine helps regulate mineral salts and water levels in the blood, it aids in keeping your body hydrated.  For example, if you are low on mineral salts in your blood, you may start to crave salty foods, causing you to overeat.

2.Yerba Mate

Not only does Yerba Mate give you a natural boost in energy, it has a positive effect on your metabolism.  Like Taurine, it has been shown to have a positive impact on exercise performance.  However, it doesn’t stop there.  Yerba Mate “makes your fat burners more sensitive to exercise [1].  ”This effect enables other weight loss ingredients to work better when combined with Yerba Mate and exercise.

3.Theobromine

Theobromine is an alkaloid found in chocolate.  Luckily for us, we have access to Theobromine without having to eat chocolate (anti-weight loss).  Unlike the high stimulant effects of caffeine that can cause withdrawal symptoms, Theobromine is mildly stimulating.  It gives you energy without being “cracked out.  ”By doing so, it increases energy expenditure, which increases metabolism.

More importantly, Theobromine has been clinically proven[2] to significantly improve insulin sensitivity.  What does this mean?  Theobromine can help reduce the amount of insulin necessary to clear out the glucose in your blood.  Why is that important?

Insulin is the most anabolic hormone in the body.  One of the benefits of being anabolic is that your body prevents the breakdown of muscle tissue.  However, too much insulin is not good.  The right amount, released from the body as a response to your post-workout shake, will prevent your muscles from breaking down and being used for energy.  It is easier for your body to break down muscle for energy, than to break down fat and use it for energy.  However, if too much insulin is released by the body (like when you are NOT insulin sensitive), it will also prevent your FAT from breaking down.  Good luck trying to lose weight, even if you have a low your Body Fat %.

Conclusion

To truly be successful with losing weight, you must attack it from several different angles.  Sometimes diet and exercise aren’t enough.  If you want a little boost, try adding one, or all three, of the ingredients mentioned above.  We believe in those three ingredients so much that we included them, in legit doses, in our fat busting, thermogenic enhancing pre-workout/ weight loss formula Titan.  For more info on Titan, click the link below.
