Insanity part 2 has all the training ideas, stories, profiles, and suggestions lifters could possibly want. Unlike the other books, it doesn't focus so much on "fitness" myth debunking or proving any particular philosophies - this book is just about "do this" in a million different ways. It's awesome, except for the font. The typeface is grating on the eyes after a while, because of slanted "y" characters and narrow line spacing. Hence, 4 stars. If you need ideas or want to know how a wide variety of strong men trained, pick this up.

I came across C&P after needing to revamp a few aspects of my training. I love the content as well as Jamie's writing style. The ebooks (1 &2) are organized, which makes it easier to read. It's all of the fun in a convenient format.

Funny and interesting as usual. Get the other ones too if you haven't got them. It's good to read about different things without the deep and meaningful " how to be a man" ****. Don't change mate!

While I didn't get as many training specific ideas as I did from IOI - Vol 1, I really enjoyed it. The first half provided some excellent information around training programs in the strength community, as well as real world experiences around competing and making weight. I am sold on the frequency of training concepts as well as the overhead pressing and the sections on that reinforced my thinking. The argument against running was solid, educational and entertaining. The BME series was okay, although I blew through some of those more quickly. Overall I give it 2 thumbs up.
