Pea Protein Isolate

Pea protein powder is made by extracting the protein from ground yellow peas, resulting in a beige powder. All nine amino acids are found in pea protein, that your body cannot create and must get from food. It's low in methionine, though. In order to compensate for this, you can include other methionine-rich foods, such as eggs, fish, poultry, beef, pork, or brown rice in your diet, which is why brown rice was added to this blend. †[1][2]

It contains branched-chain amino acids, especially arginine, which is good for blood circulation and heart health, as well as leucine, isoleucine, and valine, which promote muscle growth. †[3]

When combined with resistance training, pea protein powder helps build muscle. A 12-week study found that weight-lifting men who consumed 50 grams of pea protein each day gained the same amount of muscle as those who consumed whey protein. Pea protein powder has been found to reduce some risk factors for heart disease, like elevated cholesterol and high blood pressure in some studies. [4][5]

Brown Rice Protein Powder

Brown rice protein powder is easily digestible because of its high bioavailability and absorption. It is perfect for those who want to switch their current protein powders because they may suffer from bloating, gas, cramping, and digestive discomfort. It pairs well with the Pea protein in filling in the gaps in the amino profiles. As compared to other sources of protein, rice proteins provide a much more pleasant experience. † [6]

It is low in the essential amino acid lysine, but high in BCAAs to support muscle growth. A preliminary study suggests that brown rice protein powder can support muscle growth as well as whey protein when consumed after exercise. †

Those who consumed the same amount of rice protein powder as men who consumed the same amount of whey protein powder after weight training three days a week gained 12% more bicep muscle thickness after eight weeks.  The idea that a vegan style protein cannot perform as well as a traditional whey or milk is antiquated. † [9]

Quinoa Protein Powder

Quinoa protein is obtained from quinoa, a seed that is commonly referred to as a grain. Quinoa itself offers more protein, as well as a more complete form of protein, than most types of grains. † [10]

Quorn in its whole form does contain all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. Quinoa protein is only a complete protein source when it is completely derived from quinoa and not when it is isolated. As a complete protein, quinoa contains all of the essential amino acids, including lysine, leucine, and tryptophan. † [11]

MCT oil

Two hormones have been shown to increase the feeling of fullness in the body, peptide YY and leptin, when MCT oil is consumed.  Both of these hormones are a response to MCT oil in the body. † [12]

In a study, MCT oil was also linked to a lower rise in triglycerides and glucose levels, which may also influence the feeling of fullness. MCT oil has also shown to be helpful in reducing body weight and waist circumference in some older studies. According to researchers, it may prevent obesity. † [13][14][15]

Berry Blend

(Pomegranate Fruit, Raspberry, Blueberry Juice, Maqui Berry, Acai Berry, Goji Berry, Orange Juice, Organic Beets)

Antioxidants are compounds that help protect the cells of your body from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are always present in your body, but having too many of them can be harmful and contribute to a number of chronic diseases. † [16]

Focus and memory may be boosted by polyphenol-rich foods. Drinking grape juice, which is naturally rich in polyphenols, helps boost memory in older adults with mild mental impairment in as little as 12 weeks, according to a study. † [17][18]

The Berry Blend is rich in antioxidants and polyphenolic compounds that offer protection from oxidative damage. A polyphenolic compound may help digestion by promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria while suppressing harmful ones. Several studies have shown that polyphenol-rich tea extracts can stimulate the growth of beneficial bifidobacteria. † [19]
